A Holistic Approach To Mental and Physical Health
As a Clinical Counselor, I believe individuals are always capable of change. It's not easy, but it's achievable. Goals take time to achieve due to the complex nature of human behavior; therefore, I ask that you have patience with the therapeutic process. My work is grounded in evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches and mind-body practices, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional, I believe that how we fuel our bodies, manage our sleep, and handle stress affects not only our physical health but also our mental health. Therefore, I like to incorporate holistic ways to destress, sleep better, and fuel our bodies to help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Counseling is a supportive process designed to help you achieve your professional and personal goals, enabling you to be the best version of yourself through life's ups and downs. Transitions are a natural part of life but not always a comfortable part. You have made the hardest step; I look forward to meeting you soon.
